It is only found off the shores of the Dominican Republic where is was formed by volcanic activity resulting in the unique volcanic blue coloration. This coloring was a result of the copper substitution for calcium in the pectolite. This ring is set in 925 sterling silver and has an added embellishment of the silver twirls atop it.
